Family Therapy

My approach to family therapy involves uncovering and addressing

patterns of interactions that create problems within families. At the same time, reinforcing bonds and relationships that support positive development. Family therapy is a useful intervention as we work to address both strengths and weakness of familial interaction as we develop the family as the primary reparative intervention.

Adolescent Therapy

The primary task during adolescence is figuring out the question "Who am I and Who can I be?" This can be a very tumultuous process that can be impacted by issues pulling backwards and anxiety that stops you from moving forward. The goal of therapy is to examine and resolve these roadblocks, all the while respecting and integrating biology, culture and social norms that impact development.
